Detail	Senior Firmware Engineer Design and develop embedded firmware for new products, feasibility projects, maintain and improve the performance of existing products. Work with project team members to produce detailed specifications and develop products that meet them. Design and execute tests to validate firmware solutions at appropriate points throughout the product development lifecycle. Plan, prioritise and manage own work and work closely with other team members to achieve integrated solutions consistent with project milestones. Technical Skills: A relevant engineering or science degree. Experience with: Design and development of real-time embedded firmware in C,C++ and assembler on custom hardware using C16X and ARM microprocessors, Implementation of serial communication stacks using one or more of IEEE1394 Fire Wire, TCP/IP, USB. Device driver development using Windows DDK. Application level development in Windows using C# or C++ for the construction of test harnesses. The ability to write tight, well structured and annotated C or C++ code. Familiarity with the use of oscilloscopes and logic analysers. Ability to interpret electronic schematic diagrams. Understanding of VHDL.
