letter setting out your skills, abilities and experience.
• Full Name ;
• Contact details – full address, mobile, home, email address;
• Personal statement – a brief summary of your career and future plans;
• Education/Professional qualifications
• Work Experience – provide a chronological list of company names from present with a brief description of each job role and daily responsibilities along with your strengths in each role;
• Interests – It is a good idea to list any extra-curricular activities so your prospective employer can understand the type of person you are;
• Referees – it is better to advise “Referees available on request”
Always ensure your CV is written in a suitable font which is legible and clear. Make sure you proof read your CV for spelling inaccuracies and check that your CV portrait you correctly.
It is not advisable to put the reason for leaving your jobs on your CV. Leave this topic for discussion at an interview.
